Removing Stock Spoiler

just wondering if anyone has ever removed or thought of removing the stock spoiler? i think my subs has rattled it loose, and the double sided tape is pretty much not sticky anymore, and it wobbles a little. i was wondering if there is anything i can cover up the screw holes with if i do decide to remove it and how it will look.

I wouldn't advise taking it off because to refill the wholes you need to either putty it or Bondo it and repaint again. Just get new double sided tape. and screw the thing tighter.

My buddy with a GTO took his off and has the same type holes in his trunk lid. He found some low profile patches that accept paint. He sprayed them to match. It is a temporary solution, granted and it is noticeable. Only other way to do this other than repaint and bondo, is to switch lids.

Try new double sided tape and some LocTite for the screws/bolts.
