Removing rear A

I know accsuperstar has done this, do you need to remove the inner trunk lining to remove the rear 'A' emblem? I know there is clips, do they need to be undone from inside? Thanks.

How do you remove the white plastic inserts? If you take them off, will it leave 2 holes in the trunk??

remove the inner liner and push them out from the backside. I covered the holes from the inside and put the emblem over it which covers it completely.
