Reflash for the 05 Auto is Officially Available
For all of you 05 Auto owners. The wait is over
Just saw on the Hondata homepage that the reflash for the 05 Auto is available.
http://www.hondata.com/
From their homepage:
05 Automatic TSX
The reflash for the 2005 Automatic TSX is now available. With an increased rev limiter and lowered VTEC point the reflash turns the TSX into a faster and smoother vehicle.
Anyway, congrats guys. It's finally officially out after such a long wait.

That's right. I hope something comes out for the 07-08. Mine is bone stock but I'll definitely get this if it does come out.

oh I hear you.
I'm pretty close to first in line. in my own head anyway.
I plan on being as ready as possible for when K-Pro is available for my 08.
I need to decide on ITB's or S/C, but I'll have it figured by then.

I doubt it, I've yet to see any yet.
I too am strongly leaning towards the ITBs and an engine build, the only
thing I worry about really is noise. I don't want a loud or obnoxious car.
I already know a S/C with a full mugen setup sounds nice and clean.
I have little experience with ITBs in person. as long as the sound is nice,
which it probably will be, then I'll go that route. the S/C is a backup plan probably.

ITBs scream. If you don't want loud, you don't want ITBs. They do sound pissed the hell off and awesome though. They'll suck the low end out unless you put them on fairly long runners at the expense of some top end gain. Really not very practical for a DD but I would like to see some one do it.

sounds like CCColts is a much better candidate than myself.
all the clips of ITBs I've heard have been pretty damn loud.
I consider my TSX a dd pretty much, even though it doesn't get driven much.
I'm still going to consider it though.... NA is more my style anyways.

If you rigged up a motorcycle style air box it would definitely take the edge off the sound. You'd have to be careful how you designed it though so as not to squander what you're gaining from the ITBs. That's a bit over my head.
I'd still take a stab at it if the opportunity presented itself.

no.
and yes.
not someone I know personally, but someone from the boards, yes.
I've heard several clips of dyno pulls with it and such.
and it's the full setup on his MT, his AT only has a part setup, lol.
lacking the header/cat and intake on the AT right now.
yes, he has two s/c'd tsx's... drew you bastard!
