Red Line WaterWetter Coolant is a yes or no?

Does anyone have experience with this product?
Is it compatable with the tsx's coolant system?
Do you think if i should give this a shot for this summer?

First of all, what makes you feel you need it?

my thoughts might be wrong be here it is. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
the red line coolant can reduce the coolant system's temperature, isn't it benefitical for the tsx to produce more power?

More than a few nationally successful autox racers I know use it all the time. They claim 20 degree cooler temps which is important to combat heat soak.

Peace

The engine does require the correct coolant temp for optimum performance (not too cold or hot). The engine in the demo is a V8, cast iron block, aluminum head with a 160 degree thermostat. Their best result is 202 degrees with the water wetter. That is still over 40 degrees above the 160 thermostat rating.

The TSX has an aluminum block, head and a thermostat that fully opens at 194 degrees (185 being average). The coolant temp on a dyno up to 7600 rpm is about 190-195 with the factory 50/50 coolant mix. The temp can go as high as 220 sitting in traffic but it goes down very quickly with moving air and engine speed. The factory TSX cooling system is very good and the only thing you need is to maintain it.

Also be very careful with the type of coolant you use if you ever decide not to use the honda OEM fluid. The wrong type of coolant can cause corrosion of your cooling system. There's a long thread somewhere in Discussion by Michael Wan about different types of coolants.
