called Mr.Tunes (Audio Shop) in Ann Arbor local area, MI for installation of Rear Veiw Camera and DVD movie system so i can play both on the navi screen (06 TSX)

the guy told me that rear view camera installing is around 299 (parts + installation labor included). is it a reasonable price ?

he said he will contact the dealer about the converter and etc...and give me a call back.

also, since i'm modding the system, he said if we get the video system with 2 inputs, i'll be able to do Rear View as well as DVD video.

how much should i expect for the video converting system?

also,... wait for 07 TLS to be available in Ann Arbor Area, then i'll be able to use the 07 TL nav system with rear view camera ?

Buy the Dom's navi unit for the Nav to DVD conversion.

299 for a rear view camera install might be a little on the pricey side, but it's not a terrible price if it's a very good shop. Maybe it would be cheaper to get the camera yourself on Ebay and then just pay him for the labor. Do a search and you'll see one of the popular cameras that people are using.

 

299 isn't terrible. Dom's navi unit is about 60 i believe, and a decnt camer is around 70-90? So you'r looking at labor = 150 bucks. Depends if you can it or not urself. see the TL threads, someone has a hot camera set up.
