Questions...

Worked my ass off the past month to mod my car and I want to make it worth it. So help me out plz.

-How loud is Injen? Yes, I know at WOT it screams but does it take away that 'luxury' appeal?

-Mugen Air Box? Is it worth that ridiculous price? I searched all over and can't find a dyno, anyone have specs on it?

-DC Sports Headers supposedly breaks a lot.. wtf is the deal? Will I regret getting the cheaper and better performing DC over comptech headers?

-Will Hondata Heat Gasket+SRI = CAI gains?

The ECU reflash is a no brainer but I need some feedback on these other components. I want to keep a somewhat clean image, just want/need more pep (I live in Florida and with the A/C on the TSX feels embarassingly slow). Hook me up, what's the best combo? money isn't a big concern. (Don't come back and tell me to put a jet engine in my car..) One last thing, is there anything promising coming out in the near future?

1.from what i know, its Loud.
2. mugen is very expensive. have you considered comptech ice box, pretty much the same thing, but not CF air box. and LOT cheaper. I sounds pretty sweet, not too loud. you can really start to hear it around 4k and screams at vtec.
3. ceramic breaks easily due it being ceramic.
4. Hondata, never really read about it.

Since you have worked hard to mod your car, a slightly more effort will find all the answers that you are looking for right here in this forum. Just go to the upper right hand corner within the Parts & Performance forum and type in some key words... or go to the menu bar and click the search link.

1) You won't notice any difference when cruising but you'll notice a more throaty sound at half throttle and at WOT it's pretty loud. You'll definitely turn heads.

2) Value is in the eye of the beholder. If you're a JDM nut or like a top quality CF product then get it. From a performance standpoint, it's not much different from the comptech box. eviljohn dyno'd his car at the last meet with the mugen box and it put out comparable numbers to any other CAI.

3) It sounds like the weld problem has been fixed and a lot of our members have been pretty happy with the DC header.

4) That's kind of counterproductive. The gasket is designed to lower intake temps but then you want to use an SRI which will increase temps?

CAI + DC header + Hondata reflash + gasket = nice gains.

That too would be my opinion on the best setup for some nice gains.

While you're at it, I'm sure an exhaust like Fujitsubo or Tanabe wouldn't hurt either..
