Question for Canadian intake owners!

I realize that there has been many questions about whether injen intake voids the factory warranty, and the usual response is that the magnusson moss statute prevents dealerships from denying warranty service, if the aftermarket part installed improves performance! Installed my intake a couple weeks ago, and am worried whether the same will hold true in Canadian statute law. Has anybody in Canada had warranty experience with intakes and their TSX's? What I mean, will dealerships still honour the warranty in Canada like they are required to do so in the states? I sure hope so, it would be a pain to have to remove it every time i need some sort of service under warranty!

Thanks

Common Guys. I know there's quite a few of you from Toronto around here, and some of you must have put intakes in!

I don't know about the legal stuff regarding this in Canada, but I really won't worry about it. Unless your car develops some problem that is proven to be caused by the after-market intake, then there should be no problem.

If I remember right, another member (I think it's kurt_bradley, my apologies if I name the wrong guy ) with loads of experience working for Honda (America) has explained quite clearly that Honda dealer/service has to go through quite a great deal of processes through Honda America to deny warranty service. I think it's safe to assume Honda Canada is pretty much the same in this regard.

And speaking from personal experience, I had a '98 Prelude running a SRI and regularly brought it to the Honda dealership for service, no question asked or got bugged about it. I really won't worry about it...

I know my dealership won't void the warranty. Hell, they sell and recommend it.
