I'm a mod noob guys......If i install intake (CAI or SR) and exhaust systems....will they shorten my engine life?

Not really. All this does is free up air. And you have a honda engine which will last you 3 lifetimes.

Please search, but the answer is pretty much a . We had one member here just hydrolocked his TSX via a CAI, but he was admittedly sitting in a flood area. So will these parts in themselves shorten the life of the engine.... no evidence. Now, will an exhaust do much more than give you noise... same thing... . If you read up, there are plenty of suggestions on which mods to do first. Your CAI/SRI is a good start, but read up.
