Hi all,
I was wondering if its possible to paint the Injen intake system with a high temp paint. Not for performance purpose, but just for looks. I currently have a polish intake and I keep kicking myself because I didn't get the black polish. You guys think it'll be ok to paint?

I would just sell it and get the one you want instead of painting. I'm sure someone out there wants the chrome.

There's no reason why you couldn't paint it. You'll want to do a primer and several light coats of black. Try wet sanding inbetween coats to avoid orange peel.
