OEM body kit installed this morning.

just got back from the dealer. i got them to put some foam in the doors for sound vibration, but now it just a differnt part of the door vibrates... dont know how to fix it all. lots by the locks.
i got the body kit put on. cost $1645 cdn in the end.
looks pretty damn sleek, i need to find a digi cam. ill host before and after pics later.

i have a question for other kit owners tho. on your front air dam, if you were to follow the line in which the kit touches the car, do you have any gaps between the 2 bodys? i have a toothpick sized gap once it curves around into the foglight area. pretty much the whole front end doesnt look to be stuck right against the car, just out a little. yet all the bolts are in tight and correct.
please explain anything.
thanks in advance

Take it to a body shop have them mold the kit to the car so you will have no seams...that will take care ot the problem and give you a cleaner look. =)

It's possible that the two-sided sticky tape that you may have used to attach the front spoiler isn't thick enough to compensate for the narrow "lip" that curves over the top of it, right where it meets the car. Also, if you waxed the car previously, the wax may keep the tape from sticking. (Either that, or you don't have the adhesive tape at all.)

Depends on if you know someone at a shop or not...it shouldnt be too back all they need is marglass....(combo of bondo and fiberglass but alot stonger than both) or you could use microbubbles....its what they use on small boats to seal them up...it works great and will never crack. its up to you how you want it done. But if you molded the entire kit make sure not to curb it or you will be getting it redone. =)

im a little mad cuz i let the dealership install. i figured, im young, i may not do it perfectly. then i got a look at the mechanics, they ARE YOUNG, and stupid, jackasses. they were fuckin around everytime i saw them, and they prolly did a worse job than i could have
and im going out of town on thursday, so not too happy.
