Question No Inlet Adapter for Icebox

I just received my Icebox from a dealer in CA (I'm in TN) and noticed that I have everything but the inlet adapter.

Is this piece an absolute necessity? If so, I'll work with the dealer to get one. Thanks in advance for the help Acuraziners.

which inlet adapter are you talking about. if it is the flared cone going down into the bumper area then it will give you much better gains with than without.

I think you're referring to the actual inlet horn. Here is the piece I'm referring to (see black circle):

Yeah, you need that bit. That is what makes the junction between the stock inlet and the horn work.

Thanks Moda. I peeked under the sheet metal this weekend and confirmed exactly what you just said. I guess I'll have to wait for the dealer to send that piece. *sigh*

Got mine from Frank Toyota out of California. They contacted CT Engineering (manufacturer of Icebox) and they have mailed the missing piece to me. Great customer service from everyone so far.
