New Grill Coming Soon

There is a new grill coming out from silviaparts.com. The prototype was left prepainted today and should arrive at my house by the end of the week for a test fit. As soon as it arrives I will post pictures and write up a review on it. The grill will cost $130 and then $50 more if you would like to have it pre-painted. hopefullly by this weekend I will have the pictures posted.

who cares if it is a Mugen knockoff for that price. As long as it fits well and the paint matches.

by the way, i can tell that you love mugen products from your signature, tell us how that mugen 5-way adjustable suspension works once it's installed, damn kingmotorsports people, they told me that mugen SS (i have this one) is the only kind suspension system they will make for TSX, then they had this adjustable shit come out, lier...haha, anyways, keep up the good work!

If I could do it all over again, depending on how their paint jobs come out, I would save the money and get this grill before shelling out $$$ for the Mugen. I am not too sure it's a fake Mugen, like your reference to the Rolex. No place on the grill does it have Mugen on it. It's a knock off, yes, and a damn good one!

Ok I have bad news. The grill arrived on friday but do to shipping companys not caring that packages labedl handle with care should be handled with car one the the mounting pieces on the end that one of the clips goes through is cracked. I am waiting to see if they are gonna ship me a new one now and return this one or ship me one and have me keep this one to take the pics for there site so that they can get it up for sale. Either way the grill was unfortunatly not able to be put in this weekend. I HATE DELAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learned long ago to never label anything "Fragile: Handle with care". It's like an open invitation to any one of the 1,000 people that handle your package from point A to point B to see how much damage they can do. I swear it's like a contest to them or something.

When I worked at a computer shop we had the FedEx guy come in with a 23" Sony widescreen monitor ($$$$) and drop it from chest hight onto the floor infront of me. After I picked my jaw off the ground I was like "what the hell are you doing"? His response: "policy says that anything shipped has to be able to withstand a 6' drop and I'm only 5'9" so it can't be damaged". That's just total arrogance.

If he's the one dealing with customers, I wonder what the guys do in the warehouse.

Ok well they emailed me back and said I should go ahead and put some resin on the small crack which is not noticeable from the outside at all and if it does not work they will be glad to exchange it for another one. The customer service at this place is very responsive I get emails back within the half hour almost every time and if not then its within the hour. So I will be getting so resin tonight and then hopefully will have the pictures up before I leave for a short 3 day weekend vacation on Friday.

best way to protect something is to wrap the heck out of it w/ foam or bubble wrap.

BTW: why is this company making a grill for the TSX and not advertising it?

No JDM radiator cover. It was molded off the stock grill, American made. It will be a simple swap.

Hey CCColts i saw they do eyelids for a few cards on thier site, do they have any plans to do anything for the TSX. Id love a set and the only ones i can find are 200 bills. If that grille looks nice, when i get some money id be intersted in it and eyelids (if they were to make some)

I am not sure if they are planning on making eye lids or even some taillight covers would be cool that only showed the circles on the tails. I will ask about it next time I am in contact with them.

Awesome, thanks, let me know what they say. Eyelids and a new grille could give the car a nice aggresive look to the front.

ok I went to install the grill and hense the term 'test fit' it was definitly a test fit cause it did not fit. I took a lot of pictures of the bumper where the grill goes and the mugen grill I removed and the factory grill mounting clips. Now they should have enough pictures to go by and get it right and I get to keep the first ones and they are sending me the second one free of charge. I don't know when to expect the next one is to be shipped so I will keep you all updated when I know more.

Can't wait to see the new grill when it is fitted correctly.

BTW....I don't think he was calling you an idiot, but rather the guy that was saying its a mugen knock off and that he was selling fake rolexs to go with the grill.
