New to this forum, and to the Vegas area. Did a search and found nothing. I am looking for a good place to have some mods done but don't want your 'typical' mechanic. Acura of Vegas carries the whole line of the typical aftermarket manufacturers but the mark-up is sick. If anyone is familiar with the area I would appreciate the advise.

 

Not sure what type of mods your looking to do, but a lot of guys on here are their own installers. Most of the things on the TSX are actually pretty simple to do and i haven't really worked on cars all that much but was able to put in the intake, rear sway bar, Tein coilovers, and few other odds and ends fairly easily. There are plenty DIY's on here too that could help. As for Vegas, i can't help you on that one as i'm in Philadelphia.....lol. I would ask more specific mod types first though!

 

Thanks for the info. I'm not very mechanically inclined, and probably lack the necessary tools I may need. Plus it's my only means of transportation, so if I get in a bind I'm screwed. I've been reading this forum for months and I do notice that the DIY info is thorough. Thanks again.

 

You might want to post your question in Off Topic. There it'll be seen by all Acura owners, not just TSX owners so there will be a greater chance of finding someone in your area that can recommend a shop.
