This isn't the same old navi question, so that makes it very hard to find any information on. Hopefully some member here who have done navi installs can shed some light on this subject for me. I need to know if the in dash cd player is detachable and could be replaced with the climate control from a non navi TSX. End product being similar to this.

 

I'm not so much concerned with wiring, just if that part of the dash is one piece or can be separated.

 

this would be beyond amazing for me, i hate flipping through the menu to control the a/c, heat, fan

 

I hear the back of the console is 1 big pcb board and cant be seperated

 

I wouldnt need the navi to work, just the original lower climate control, I just didnt know if those pieces could be seperated.

 

Thats not possible, as not only is the front one combined piece, the brain of the unit is a board thats all connected together.

 

So the front is one piece. Damn. That's what I afraid of, I didnt anything anything to work other than the non-navi climate control.
