Gruppe M all the way baby!!!
I've been searching for this intake for quite sometimes but it seemed like the US distributor went out of business or that they didn't wanna bring in the application for CL.

Have seen and heard both intakes on Euro Rs over here - it really depends on what type of look and sound you like since they cost about the same with shipping (to us on this side of the Pacific anyway).

Mugen - enclosed air box/panel filter design - more free flowing of course, but still fully enclosed so the sound is more muted than GruppeM. Lovely kit with air horn/funnel from box to back of the bumper + a deflector plate at the bumper to channel air in. Take care with screw threads on the box - you don't want to strip them as they are made of carbon fiber!

GruppeM - open pod with funnel-like carbon fiber heat shield - so more raw, more aggressive obviously - may more low end loss compared to Mugen. Less stuff in kit - just the SRI open pod filter with the shield over it - but the carbon fiber shield looks bloody good and wraps around the filter on three sides - air is taken from the same hole but no funnel or pipe given.

I dunno GruppeM is jdm! They look awesome and they are loud (on E46). But $700+ for a intake is a lot!

I sweat both of these intakes, but the truth is they are just too expensive. Also gruppem is the shit in the bmw community.

dynos? No one will ever convince me that spending that much on an intake is a good idea unless there are dyno plots to show how much better they are.

(yes I understand people just want to go jdm sometimes)

BTW There was one intake that interested me it's called a power chamber or something like that. Gives lots of low/midrange gains and not so much on the top end.

THat's the intake from ARC. I didn't know they made any applications for the accord, but I have a feeling that's a 2.0l cl7 and not a cl9. I don't know if it would still fit.

just do a search for "arc super induction box" and "arc intake power chamber" which are two different products which can be used together.

Gotta love the japanese and there hyper cheesy names.

Here's there website. There's this place in NY that specialize in importing JDM parts
but I can think of it's name, I think the name of the company starts with a Z.
