You should get the JDM hood trim to replace the TSX one.

I assume he's getting his Mugen grill painted however, so it'd be easy to do it at the same time. Plus those hood trims take forever to import, 6 weeks for mine.

EH71, where did you order the grill and hood trim? I guess they don't come in colour right? If I am going to bring them to a shop for paint, what colour code for PWP? I want them paint exactly the same colour as the body.

ooo shoulda done some more research. you can buy the painted hood trim from boom plus toys.

they give a small discount for board members and their customer service is excellent

your paint code is on your driver's side door sill. And take it to a shop you trust because matching the factory paint is very difficult.

HI people..greetings from UK! I am about to take delivery of an Honda Accord Type-S and have some questions.

I see in some pics that the Euro R does not have the Chrome hood trim or grill that we get here for the Honda Accord. I was just wondering if anyone had actually painted their chromed hood trim instead of buying a new one?

Anyway hope to be more useful on here after I get the Type-S :-)

Don't think but maybe a handful have painted the trim, most just order it from specialty shops already painted from the factory. Try www.boomplustoys.net
If you're interested in it, e-mail Morris, he'll help you out.

thanks for the reply...just got my hood trim and mugen from Boom plus yesterday installed today....only tood 1.5 hours since i was doing it carefull and those bottom clips are an a***! pics at

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...925#post392925

I zip tied the bottom because i didn't want the hassle of breaking the grille come the time when i sell it..plus i broke some of the clips taking them off lol.

Fitment of the grille is perfect for the UK Type-S and the radiator top peice required no mods at all apart from cutting a very small peice of plastic away to make it look nice, but it didn't have to be done to install the thing.

I just got my Mugen grill and I'm confused about what to paint.

Do I paint the entire outside (obviously not the grill part) the body color, or do I paint the lower outside body color and the top piece black? Sorry, the instructions are in japanese and I'm a little rusty.

I would recommend to paint the bottom piece the body color, and the top piece black. It'll look better.
