Mufflers??

I was wondering if the tsx can be installed with twin mufflers...im thinkin about getting two mufflers with quiet tip inserts because i dont want to shell out 800+ dollars to buy an entire new exhaust system when i can get sound for much less money...i couldnt find any threads related to this...but could anyone help me out with this???

Don't waste your time doing that. If you want quiet by installing inserts, then just keep the stock exhaust system. But if you are after a particular sound, then ask yourself how many brands or types of mufflers are you willing to try before getting the sound you want. Because that will easily add up to the cost of a complete exhaust system.

at some performance stores they sell universal mufflers.....has anyone does this to their cars? i think twin mufflers on the tsx would look really tight....esp carbon fiber ones...but im afraid of the noise level on them....the universal mufflers only cost about 60 dollars at a place i know

Man, if only I was still going to school in Pennsylvania. I could stop by and hear it in person. Definitely post a sound clip.

The only issue I have about doing that is that the midpipe wouldn't be stainless steel if you got it done at a muffler shop. I figure that I will be keeping the catback for a long time, so I'd rather just spend the money now and get a decent stainless steel catback. I'm looking to get the Greddy Evo2
