Modded TSX?

I was reading posts around the site and I read somewhere that it wouldn't be hard to mod a TSX to beat an RSX-Type S... I was wondering what you'd have to do?

Yeah but that seems like a big jump...Then it seems like you're only faster because of that and if a Type-S installed one then he'd beat you again...

Obviously. The RSX is around 500lbs lighter than the TSX so you need a lot more power to keep up.

You'd have to get pretty creative to shave that much weight

The driver could start to loose 20 lbs of body fat.
The loose the spare tire...
then use lightweight wheels and tires (every 1lbs = approx 8lbs).
sand down the clear coat
remove the driver seat motor (almost 50 lbs)
Drive with a quarter of the gas tank full only
Drive with a quarter of washer fluid tank only
take the front brake disks of the car
replace the hood with a carbon fiber hood

that should save a few pounds... Now the problem is that a RSX can do the same...

Cheers

Luc
