Mod #1.....done
Open up and say ahhhhhh......
Before:
After:
The install almost seemed too easy it went so quick. I couldn't get all the threads to line up on the Comptech box, so I had to leave a bolt out (see pic above), but it's closed tight.
Initial impressions.....the throttle is much more "touchy". The sound is just enough, I don't think I would have been happy with the CAI noise. The growl sort of reminded me of my old car...

When I first got the TSX I told myself I would keep it close to stock and maybe do a couple of things here and there. After I picked up an intake, it was over! I haven't been able to stop yet!
Congrats on getting/installing the intake!

I have both, and the Comptech Sway makes a bigger difference than the strut tower bar. The TSX already has a factory strut tower bar.

Since you said that you dont like the CAI noise? I'm assuming that this is a comptech icebox?

Did my non-TSX cargo net install count as my mod #1? If so, haven't got on to my mod #2 yet... but it's not even 3 months since getting the car. I am a bit afraid to start with the real mods and won't be able to stop
