I have read some posts on various gear oils, I did my car tonight with Mobile 1, I would have like to have gotten Lucas or Amsoil but I would have had to drive about 40 miles to get it. Anyone have any thought on this product? I could have gotten 70-90 weight but figured down in AZ the 140 would be better.

Thoughts?

No, no, no to Lucus oil. Ever play with their displays at autoparts stores? Funny thing is is if you turn the gears as fast as you can for about 15-30 secs you will see how bad it really is. It foams up to high heaven, and air doesn't protect nearly as much as oil does.

Not sure about the Mobil 1 you bought.

I have always had great experience with Pennzoil Syncromesh or the GM brand Syncromesh (both are the same, GM costs about $10 qt, the Pennzoil costs about $4 qt)

That viscosity rating is not right for your TSX's manual gearbox. You should use Honda/Acura MTF or an equivalent synchromesh fluid for brass synchros.
