M3 Lip Spoiler Instructions?
I just had my M3 lip spoiler painted, and I was wondering if anyone could provide me with directions and tips on how to install it? I am not sure what kind of tape to use or the exact placement of the spoiler. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.
I apologize if this has been posted already, but I had a hard time finding any of the threads.

Mine came with 3M double sided weather adhesive. Once you have the adhesive, size it up and see how/where exactly you want the placement. I'd suggest the farthest trailing edge of the decklid.
Wash your car thouroughly and if possible use a dish wash deterget (Dawn) over your decklid.
Figure out the placement that you want and get a bit of masking tape and lay strips down on the outer edges of the lip and the rear most portion. Once you have the placement "marked" and the adhesive on the spoiler, start peeling off one corner off the paper covering the adhesive strip and check final placement. A friend would be a great help while he holds it in placewhile you press the exposed adhesive onto the decklid. With your friend holding the lip in place, slowly peel back the adhesive tape like a fruit by the foot while pressing down on the spoiler for final attachment.
Enjoy...
