Lip spoiler

I know this ebay spoiler has appeared on the board before, but was wondering if anyone actually got it and installed it.

It looks better than the m3 lip, more body to it/bigger and fits to the curve at the trunk, kinda like the lip on the concept Aspec.... although a bit pricey imo

That looks like the lip that comes with the lower spec Accord models over here.

I really like it as it's a bit more predominant than the M3 one but when I asked Honda for a quote and they quoted me £210 ($388 )

Any chance of posting the link ??

Cheers

Darren

The spoiler was made out ofpolyurathane (spelling??) .... it came with some sort of slick protectant on it.... this made it hard to paint.... all in all I paid $75 to paint it so not too bad.

I have just finished round 1 of my mods to my 05 tsx.. Got a few more to go but I expect to have pics up as soon as today.... so you all can see the lip spoiler then..

Anyone have pics of the spoiler from eBay? I've been looking at it myself. With out more pics or painted ones, it's hard to tell just what it'll look like from other views. PLEASE POST PICS!

I called the seller, they paint them at their facility. They said they put 4 coats of paint, and 4 coats of clear. He had no other pics of finished wings on a car to send me.

It's funny how we all think alike sometimes...

I was looking at that same spoiler on ebay a couple of days ago, and was thinking about it, but I also think they're asking a little too much $247 ($229 + $18 S&H), especially considering you can get a painted OEM replica with brake light, on Ebay also, for $170.95 ($144.95 + $26 S&H).

PLEEEEZ post pics 'loxllxol' when you get it installed!

Hey, maybe we could get a "group-buy" going for this vendor?...

FYI: We can't discuss group buys unless they are a paid vendor or sponsor.

Can't wait to see an actual pic of this lip spoiler installed on a TSX.

New Pics!

The seller has new picks with silver colormatched lip spoiler, looks pretty good, never bothered to learn how to insert picks, so here's a link to the item on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33638

if link gets old search for "Acura TSX Lip Spoiler PAINTED 2004+ New Flush Mount 3M"

Looks a little strange to me. I think the leading edge is too thick or something...

That thing is WAY too thick on the leading edge and also goes up at too high an angle.

Too expensive for a lip, unless you absolutely love it.

The M3 lip will cost you $50~60 painted, and IMO the M3 lip looks a tad better than this gigantic one.

That's because m3 lips aren't even spoilers. They're just a dinky piece of plastic that you can even barely call a spoiler.

Well you guys can get your big chunky wings the rest of us will either stay wingless or go with something like an M3 lip. I am waiting to see a TSX with a type R wing so I can laugh my ass off.

Talking

Ask and ye shall receive!

Yeah the fit is great. I spoke with the guy from eBay. He was very accomodating, and the customer service was great. I think he said they have 3 shops around the country. Like their ad says, this may not be the cheapest spoiler out there, but you pay for quality. The paint is great and it fits like OEM. I'm very satisfied.

How much did you pay?

I don't see that Ebay auction anymore.

Also, does it just attach to the trunk with 3m tape?
