well ima newb to the site but i have some backround in car modification built a lot of hondas lol well i have a 05 Acura Tsx NAVI but its a Auto i need a stick so i workin on plans to change it over to a 6 speed but i want to use the Transmission from a Rsx K20 Type-r from Japan i ve been talkin to couple of my buddys who r honda heads and say this is possible i was also thinking of getting the head off a Type-r k20 and putting on our strong K24 Block Ive had this car for over a year and its definetly time for change wanted to know if any bodys had any thoughts or extra ideas or if anyone has done this just wanted sum input im looking to build this car up for speed dont know if i want all motor or turbo yet which is y i need to get a strong transmission lined up also been looking into LSD but just wanted to see wut has been done out there so far.. yes you might be familiar with hondas but apparently you are pretty new to forums cause you must not have search at all.

to begin with there is a guy currently working on doing a MT swap in his auto. you would have found this if you would have searched. he is only swapping to the tsx MT but atleast it is a start in the right direction.

also to swap to the k20 head you would need a programmable eco like a hondata k-pro. there is no k-pro currently available for the tsx. the car is drive by wire which makes throttle control very difficult to almost impossible as of now. the only way would be to go with the rsx k-pro switch to an accord throttle body with a cable throttle. in the process of doing this you would lose the use of your factory gauges and need to go custom. you would also lose the use of your heating and air conditioning, abs, and traction control. all of this you could have found in a search also.

if losing all of that does not matter to you then more power to you cause the possibilities for engine configurations are up to you.

the ecu you problem is the reason there are currently no turbo charger kits available for the tsx. which you could also have found through search.

 

This is what happens when you dont pay attention in English class.

Since our motor is 180 degrees turned, you just have to do the same thing with the head and it will work.
