Thanks guys!
Nah, I'm not worried. They say a good rule of thumb to follow is never exceed 50% power increase to your current engine output. Plus, if I can help it, I try not to over-indulge! LOL...

You can DIY. It comes with instructions on how to install and program the brain.

What's the legality of nitrous anyway? Think I'd have any problems in MA?
I've wanted a bit of extra power for a while but dont want to spend the $5k for a supercharger...this might be a cheaper alternative

tampa tsx girl, why not go for the 75 shot? it will definately be better. The Zex nitrous plugs are definately under rated. A 55 shot of Zex is much weaker than a 55 shot of NX (or most other nitrous companies).
According to what ive heard, Zex rates their "shots" by measuring the extra horsepower at the crank. Most of the other nitrous companies rate thier "shots" by measuring the extra horsepower at the wheels.
Just something you might want to check out

tampa girl do you have a reflash?
and how did you hook up the tps?
I have been thinking about this for the longest time, I used to have a kit just sitting in my closet but it was a dry kit so I just sold it. have been wanting to get a wet kit ever since
maybe now I´ll go ahead and try it out.

Wow, that's pretty cool...I like the Purge pic!!
Just don't ever get the Hondata reflash. You want to retard timing with a NOS setup, and the Hondata reflash advances timing.
I wonder if the new engine management coming out by AEM will be able to help you tune for your new setup

We had a car in the shop that exhibited some of these problems, and we think it was the nitrous he was using...he was using a dry shot too...thats a whole lot worse for the motor than a wet kit.
Nitrous works by the decomposition of Nitrous oxide into nitrogen and oxygen inside the cylinders. Normal air contains 21% oxygen, and compressed nitrous oxide contains much much more usable oxygen per unit volume. A wet kit employs an enrichment fuel line in order to blend nitrous and fuel together to minimize the chances of improper air/fuel/nitrous mixtures. With a dry kit, it just sprays liquid nitrous and you hope that it all mixes with the fuel that is being sprayed independently...
The best option for nitrous oxide is direct port injection. This is where each cylinder has it's own dedicated supply of nitrous and enrichment fuel. It's like adding another set of injectors entirely. This way there is no horsepower bias in the motor and everything runs smoothly. If you look at most of the high performance nitrous motors that are out there, are usually use direct port injection.

dry shots are just retarded.

Wow... lots of questions!
Tuning would not hurt, but you don’t really need it unless you intend to run a big shot. I upgraded my spark plugs already and when I go with a bigger shot, I will retard the timing.
And the part # is 82021.
Eventually that’s the plan!
No reflash. That would kill my motor since it advances timing!
You have to use the APPS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) which is located on the passenger side at the firewall.
About 4-6” away from the throttle body.
But I gotta give props to D98clturbo. He helped me out BIG time with the install of everything. He really knows his shit! Thanks, babe!!!

Also, tampa tsx girl, which zex kit did you get? (part number please if you have it)

Hey, not that many people using nitrous around here, and you're the only one who's responsive. Thanks for the answers.
I would be curious about tuning options to run this reliably in the future.
