JDM Shift boot on a 5AT

Hey, tell me if this sounds crazy but what if I ordered a DC5 JDM shift boot and put it over the auto face and got the s2000 shift knob? My friend did that on his accord and it looks real good. Now my question is, will I able to use the JDM bracket with the current AT setup or will I need to so a custom job. Just wondering, it looks pretty sexy though.

I dont know how that would look i reserve judgement until a pic is seen, but that sounds like it could be kind of weird looking

that momo thing is huge
I was gonna go towards a more low profile Euro R look, I`ll post pics after i`m done. All the stuff is still in the mail somewhere but its comming. The shift knob will actually be alot smaller than the stock AT knob.

Definitely interesting, and I do wish I had gotten a 6spd Manual, but since I bought a 5AT, I've come to just leave it alone.

Looks very nice though.

You know the JDM automatics Accords came with a shift boot. You might want to check into that

Looks like crap IMO. If it was a factory deal and you could SEE what gear your in that would be better, otherwise seems too wannabeish.

^ use a flathead screwdrive and open it from that slot.

honestly, i like the shiftboot ....i don't care what others say. I ain't sure if that JDM shiftboot will fit though...

and as for the gears, on our dashboard, we have a display to show what gears we are in, unlike the MT

^^^^so ply open and hope it doesnt' break ?
you done the install before??......

as for look.....I just don't understand how can the mod look like crap when you install boot on AT...isn't it suppose to look exactly like MT TSX?

and it's not like I am trying to be a MT driver or something....if there's wood trim option i'd just opt for that one....
