IPod jack availble for '05?

Hey,
I just recently started reading these forums again...

Anyways, I know the new TSX has an Ipod jack built in... I was wondering if dealerships or any shops were able to put this jack into the 2005 model TSX?

If not, what is the best way to play my Ipod in my 2005 TSX while retaining the best level of sound quality?

I appreciate it very much.

I know there was an IPOD jack installed in the arm rest storage bin, near the power outlet. Not sure if it's in the 05 model.

If you go to the audio forum and search for Reach's thread on the USA Spec HON unit, you will see exactly what you need. I have it and it works great

Actually.... https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/review-usa-spec-pa11-hon2-2006-acura-tsx-339865/

There ya go!

I would look into the USASpec. That will charge you Ipod and will even allow you to control some of it with the CD player/steering wheel controls. Check the audio/video section.

Not unless you want a custom car mount to make it look pretty rather then drilling a hole in the pocket for the cord and plugging it into your ipod to just leaving it in the pocket...lol

I am in the process now of finding a holder (a cheaper one, not the Kuda leather holder and the Dice cradle, which is an awesome setup but costs like $125) that will be able to pivot out from within the pocket so i can plug the ipod into it and then have it rotate back into the pocket so i can close the lid. I think i may have found something that will work, i am just measuring things now to make sure. If it works and i get it, i'll post pictures
