Exclamation Injen Vibration Mounts

OK...well thanks to everyone who helped me with my missing parts problem for my Injen CAI...Ive boiled it down to just missing the vibration mounts.

Now I need help again because the person who sold me the intake (tsex on 19s) hasn't been responding to my messages for a few days now and im itching to install this thing.

So...

What I need are some pictures of the vibration mounts up close so I know what I can replace them with/ make my own with. Gotta get my MacGyver On!!

Thanks for the help.

ive got a general idea as to what it is...kinda like a rubber cylinder w/ a whole in it

does the threaded post on the battery go all the way though it or is there a threaded post with the vibration mount...then its a nut and washer on top

Yes it sounds like you know what to look for. It's just a rubber cylinder with a hole all the way through it. You can't go too far wrong fabricating one. If you can't find one in a parts store, just get a piece of rubber and drill a hole through it.

ok well my trip to home depot was less than satisfactory...partly because i think there is more to these mounts than simply a rubber stopper with a hole in it...is there a thredded bar that is considered the "male" end of one of these things...and the battery tie down post screws into the "female" end of the mount?....tell me if im getting this wrong...

also what size is the threads on these things??

are both mounts the same?

i can only get so much from the pictures

edit: also a length dimension would be helpfull...dont want it to hang too low and vibrate on something

After a few attempts at fabricating something with the limited supplies they had at Home Depot I descided that I'd rather have it done correctly...because if your going to do something you gotta do it right....so i searched Injen's Site and they have vibra-mounts for $10 each...o well...damn you tsex on 19s
