IceBox fitment issues
IceBox fitment issues
I tried to install my IceBox today and the high flow lid would not match up with the holes in the factory lower box. I even tried to put them together out on the work bench and they just wouldn't line up. I've gotten a return number from Comptech and their service has been great so far. I did leave the Comptech elbow and scoop installed in place of the resonator and they seem to make a decent amount of difference on their own.
Interesting ....
My lid was an extremely tight fit since I used the "gasket" mod along with a K&N filter rather than the Comptech filter.
I have read that the Comptech CS is among the best. Good luck with the replacement.

You will definitely see improved pull with the lower airhorn installed instead of the resonator. The Icebox lid, once you get it fitting correctly, will give you better throttle response. Comptech is a solid company so I have every confidence that they will make this right for you.
I got the correct lid in today and i tell that my original had been misboxed. The only problem now is i returned the lid, filter, and oil and only get the correct lid and filter back, i have a filter service kit from my old Volant intake on my truck, can i use the same oil?
