Hondata released in Australia

Hondata has been released in Australia. It's different to the one in the states.

www.jtune.com.au

They even have an extreme I/H/E (all custom designs) + ECU package with VTEC kicking in under 4000rpm. Looks pretty awesome.

WOW, if you look at the stock vs extreme dyno the numbers translate to this:

Stock HP - 141.75
Modded HP - 212.28

Stock TQ - 139.62
Modded TQ - 196.86

That looks pretty decent guys, enjoy it and maybe some one up this way will finally try something like that because that is pretty decent, about the same as the first hytech exhaust and cat system!

However, i might be holding out for the Pontiac G8, it looks pretty impressive!!

Wow I remember when the reflash for the TSX released, there was growing interest in the Australian market for a reflash for the Euro-R etc...

Its nice to see that Hondata is providing a reflash for you guys.

What mods does the extreme dyno have over the stock? If it's the same with only the reflash being the difference, that's a might big jump

Their custom I/H/E + Hondata intake manifold gasket + ECU reflash.

Their custom I/H/E + Hondata intake manifold gasket + ECU reflash. If you don't use their parts, you can only use the mild tune reflash (VTEC at 5000rpm) not the extreme reflash (VTEC at 3148rpm).

We have 98 octane fuel at almost every service station out here in Australia, so that’s no problem. Gota love Australia and are good fuel

So without 98 octane would the power be as much as our reflash or lower?

If you guys look at the extreme package it also includes toda cams and valve springs. That's probably the reason for such large gains.

On a second note is Austrlia on the Ron or pon scale for octane? In europe 98 = about 93 octane US unless I am mistaken.

EDIT: correct info about octane

The JTune Extreme package does not contain cams nor valve springs, its only a Intake Headers, Exhaust and Hondata.

If you read the JTune website they are planning to release the Ultimate package which includes the cams which adds 15% more performance to the extreme package.

I've heard of development of these kits for awhile. Nice to see it officially available. I wish Hondata would give us other reflashes choices too.

AUS uses 98 RON, which is about what our premium RON+MON/2 stuff is here.

In the USA you guys use 10%+ Ethanol in your fuel, we don’t use any Ethanol in most of our fuels this makes a big difference according to JTune.

Yes, our 98 RON is equivalent to your 93 PON.

Hey that's great. So if I want to get Hondatafied without ripping my ECU out of my car and sending it on a cross country field trip in a padded brown paper bag is to either drive to California, or to Australia...

Just had the sample production run fitted to my car.
Damn impressed with the power right through the range.

Just thought I'd post a youtube demo here for those interested, as many from Ozhonda having been hangin' out for a sound demo....beautiful deep note...
