Hondata reflash for 05 auto coming soon!!!
cliff's notes: (see title 
)
after almost 1 full year of installing/synching an 04 ecu to my car i went down to my closest hondata dealer, LHT Performance in Pinellas Park, FL. anyways the owner of the company, John (has a k20 swapped honda insight
), calls up hondata to be certain the reflash can be done. in any case, they advised him not to send my 04 ecu because the 2005 AUTO REFLASH WILL BE OUT SOON 
i told him to go ahead with my reflash anway because i went through enough trouble locating an 04 ecu and synching it at my local dealer. no date was given and i'm not quite sure i was supposed to find out in the first place

man that is awesome!
that means they didn't just drop the TSX!
so with the 05 AT coming out, that must mean they've at least
started to look at 07-08's I would hope.
they can't be too different from the 06's.

I'm glad you heard the good news, but I'm definitely gonna verify with Hondata themselves.

i think they are trying to keep it on the low because product development hasn't reached it's completion yet. however, when i used to hear "we're working on it" from hondata i assumed they were blowing me off. so now, at least they can see the light at the end of the tunnel

so this is confirmed that they will DEFINITELY make reflash available to 05 a/t ????!!!
any idea or way to find out when if they are ??
this sucks i just bought a 04 ecu but i havent synced it yet, just sitting there waiting.

I'll believe it when I see it. I have an '06 ECU sitting here waiting for reflash in a few weeks.
I hate to fan the flames here, but a couple of weeks ago I was looking at K-Pro and I swear I saw 04-08 TSX on the K-pro page before I went to sleep. I woke up in the morning and refreshed the page and it was gone. Not sure if it was a typo, me hallucinating, or both, but it was there for a bit and I got all excited

if they didnt just drop the TSX maybe there is still a slight hope of a kpro then once the car has a lower used value and more tuners are modding it.

wow, congrats to 05 AT owners.
i really hope they're working on 07/08 cars also. i guess if we're talking about rumors, i had emailed ct engineering just randomly asking if there would ever be a supercharger application for newer TSX models (ie. 07/08's). they said they were 'plans' but no set timetable. that leads me to believe if they have the plans, hondata has to be working on a reflash for it. and if that's the case, it'd make sense that a standard reflash would be available too.

just got off the phone with Doug (owner/founder of Hondata) and he did, in fact, hint at the release of a 2005 auto reflash. *** for those of you who have already purchased an 04 ecu, i suggest not telling your dealer it's going into an 05 model as Hondata will now be shying away from those types of reflashes.

This would be amazing, i rationalized myself out of the pain of doing a 04 ecu swap by tellin myself im savin money and my gas milage (although im not sure it has a big effect on gas mileage). But damn, this would be too hard to resist.

No worries man, I think we all believe you. Its been a loooong wait and everyone is antsy. Even 07 and 08 guys can have a little hope that Hondata has finally switched its focus back to us or found the manpower.

I have to thank drkangel87 for doing a crazy mt swap in his tsx for my hondata ecu.
made my life easy, but i felt all your pains guys. Really hope this works out, and wonder what us 04 swapped users can do now about that extra ecu...
