my my, 12-18 months... that's a long ass time for an engine management system to come out. I'd figure they're waiting to see the 05 sales and what the market is like before investing in hondata for the TSX.

But anyways... if Hondata is going to take such a long time.. Why dont other companies try to bring out their own product... Doesn't Cybernation have a fuel management system?

 

The Cybernation Guardian is a unique product. It's more than just a fuel management system but it's less than a K-Pro. There are other alternatives such as MoTeC: http://www.motec.com/products.htm but they're not just a quick plug and play solution and they're hella expensive. The TSX is still very new so it's going to take time for products to come out.

Personally, I wouldn't consider any piggy-backs, non-plug & plug, non-OBD2 compliance, or non-programmable fuel management systems, this includes any reflash programs.

 

 

A full motec setup is like $20,000 so mad props to whoever wants to give that a go.

 

I don't even have a floppy drive to install the Motec files. or the $20,000

i will get one when my car is out of warrenty. So I can wait another 2-3 yrs I understand you dont necessarily have to wait until its out of warrenty, but I will be doing so because i'm overly cautious.
