HID Xenon Auxillary Fog Lights Installed!
Okay I really wanted factory fog lights but after hearing that it cracks like hell and its a $100 to replace their stupid lens, I opted not to go with it. So then one day my friend discovered some Xenon HID Auxillary lights that are enclosed in a metal housing with a D1S bulb and ballasts. The D1S bulb is rated at 5400K and is made in Germany and comes with ballasts. They come with glare shields but I took my out..... but if you aim them down they should be fine. They are extremely bright.
All I can say is, finally fog lights that are 95% functionality and 5% appearance...actually it is probably 190% ! because I give it 95% appearance and 95% functionality!
Anyways, here are the pictures:
Mounted:
Here is a test street...pitch black dark enough as you can see:
Now here is just the stock HIDs D2S TSX lights (no high beams)
Now here's JUST the Auxillary Fog Light Xenon HID Kits:
Now here's BOTH of them on! Stock TSX HID + Fog Light. As you can see, there's the nice stock cut-off on the walls generated from stock HID:
Another Test
In order to make sure I was not blinding people...I tested the auxiliarry and made sure the auxiliarry fogs were "below" the stock TSX Cut off line and in fact they were... Here they are, more pics:
Okay, here is the stock TSX HID low beams... Make NOTE of the cut off.. as you can see the cut off is at the garage...the lights are capable of hitting the garages on those houses....
Now here is JUST the Auxiliarry Fog light HID kids...compare the cut offs....see it is unable to hit the garages... so i'm safe!!! i'm not blinding people... (of course, you can position them to face 10 degrees up and blind people if u want
Now here's BOTH of them on! Stock TSX low beam HID + Xenon Auxiliarry Fog light kit:

yeah, they're gonna blind the hell out of people. it's not the direct beam that will blind them. But they look hot as hell! I can actually count the pebbles on the street in that pic.

I would hate to be blinded by your car... aren't fog lights supposed to be yellow though? Cuz white light would just reflect off the fog much more than yellow light.

Its supposed to be yellow. Yellow will be better, its so that other drivers can see you in the fog. Thats the only purpose of it. Thats why they call it fog lights.

because they wouldn't fit...and there is nothing behind that location to mount it to. In the center, they are mounted (drilled) into the bumper beam and securely mounted. I believe the stock factory fog lights are much much lighter in weight, and therefore can be held in by those clips... but these lights are heavier...because it uses a metal encasing and a thick heavy glass lens...instead of cheapo plastic which will crack.

So from 0 to 10' in front of the car it's brighter, but otherwise there's no difference than just having the headlights on. Can you even notice that it's on when you're in the car?

yes you can notice it when it is on...because it has a huge glare on the road =) on top of that, the stock head lights are 4300K...these are 5400K...so they blend in with the colors and sorta look whiter..
as i mentioned i was being conservative..but you can position these up and they CAN act as headlights. As a matter of fact, these ARE NOT "fog lights". They are technically "Auxillary Low beams" and are 100% street legal DOT approved for street and hwy used according to the manual.
