Question Fog Light Wattage?

I have a 2006 TSX and wanted to know if anyone knew the wattage at which the fog lights operated. I was thinking about going with Hoen's xenonmatch plus but they run at a higher wattage rate than the standard xenonmatch bulbs. I don't want to fry any wiring. Thanks.

55 watts. Almost all H11's do.

Ouch. The xenonmatch plus run at 80 watts. I'll just try and find some standards.

The xenonmatch are 55 watts, so that is still an option.

Yeah, I've got my eye on some on eBay since Hoen is on backorder.

I got the following response from Hoen about the Xenonmatch Plus (80w) bulbs

Peter, we do not recommend this. The housing is too small and heat builds up damaging the wiring or housing. 55w is the most we recommend in any fog lamp housing.

Aftermarket fog lamps with glass housings are fine so long as a heavy duty connector is used.
