Felt and Window Tinting

Does anyone know if the 2006 TSX comes with the inside window felt?

I recently got the windows tinted on my 2006 TSX, and they charged me for the window felt. According to the installer there was no felt on the inside of my windows only the outside, and unfortunately I didn't know any better.

Now I am trying to see if other TSXs don't have the inside window felt or if the installer just ripped me off.

Thanks.

Nope, he's correct, there's no felt on the inside of the window.

But he did rip you off, because a good install of decent tint shouldn't need it, assuming you clean the windows ever.

Having felt is good. I've seen numerous AUDM TSX with scratched window tints after just 1 year.

Sorry I did not mean to post it in the photograph gallery, but I appreciate the feedback.

I was just worried they charged me for something I already had.

aaaargh...

I've been hit by the "Told You So!" fairy.

1 day after saying that the felt isn't necessary, and I do clean my windows...
3 large scratches on the front passenger window after rolling it all the way down and then back up again.

Its a good thing I have a written warranty on my tints. Back to the shop I go to get them to install felt. Since they said I didn't need it, I expect them to replace the passenger window gratis, and I'll pay them to install felt all around so there are no more hassles.
