I have spent a ton of time analyzing the stock TSX exhaust.

With a cat, 2 resonators & 2 mufflers it's really free flowing & that's why an aftermarket cat & cat back system adds so little power to the TSX.
It's also way too quiet which I hated.

With this in mind I cut out the 2nd (square shaped) resonator, replaced with straight pipe. This gave the car a bit of tone & attitude for very little money.
There is no drone & barely any difference during normal driving but when you drive aggressively you can definitely hear the difference.

All my details & pics are on the TSX Club forum. Search on "stock exhaust".
