Many threads on this topic ...

Most probably agree that the current aftermarket exhausts offer little performance wise. I have the Comptech exhaust. The performance gain is very negligible.

Yes i suppose, check with your dealer about warranty. For some reason, my dealer said exhaust he is perfectly fine with, yet intake might end up costing me some $$ in the future.

Other than a different sound exhaust alone will not make a diff - regrdless of how much you wait.

Yep and Injen Intake or K&N Typhoon has been know to make the most gains out of all of the current mods. I think it makes a 12 hp on the Dyno, so that's real horsepower to the wheels.

I heard headers add 8 hp and exhaust like 2-5 hp.

Do a search though dude....there are some very knowledgeable people here and you will learn a lot of performance and the Pros and cons of each mod.

low $$ exhaust

there is a custom exhaust shop here in SO FL that installed 2 magnaflow mufflers on my stock pipes. i have an 04 tsx with the only other mod being an Injen cold air intake. i have the muffler shop use the stock tips so it is a stealth install..i will post pix. cost of install was $212 (inc tax).... i have definieltly felt a seat of pants difference and my car now has a cool exhaust tone. considering the 900$ comptech cat back exhaust is basically a waste (unless u like paying almost a grand for a pretty exhaust that adds maybe 1-2 hp on a dyno)..i am going to have my car dyno'd but i can honelstly say that by just using a set of magnaflow mufflers on the stock piping is a great low cost performance mod. i
