Engine Oil

What engine oil everyone use for their TSX beside the oil used at the Acura dealer?

A quick search will let you notice this topic has given way to some debate already, but I'd say many here favor Mobil 1 synthetic.

I'm of the school of thought that Honda oil will do just fine.

1st Oil Change was free at the dealer.

2nd Oil Change was Mobile 1 Synthetic.

I did my first oil change at 5k (but used Honda oil...which is made by Mobil) and then have used Mobil 1 for the rest of time. That's the best recommendation you can get. This is the same routine I've had for all my Hondas.

I am thinking of going with either Motul 300V or 8100 along with the HAMP oil filter. Would the 300V be a bit overkill for winter? Or should I use 8100 for winter and 300V for summer? Also, trying to decide between 5w30 and 5w40?

8100 5W-30 for me .. ~~ i personally think 300V will overkill the car in winter ..
even my frd's 350Z use 8100 throughout the whole yr .. ~~
