Engine mileage and dyno performance

I'm curious to see how much performance difference between a fully broken-in engine (higher mileage) and a low-mileage engine. It's somewhat expected a tighter engine will have less hp than a loosen-up engine but how does it compare?

Please feel free to add your mileage, dyno and mod info so others can compare. Btw, I realize different dynos and condition yield different results. This is just for fun comparison.

provench provided two dyno runs from two different cars:

hp = 170.0
tq = 153.0

hp = 169.9
tq = 152.4

Mileage = ? Engine mods = ?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stokeless provided two runs

hp = 179.9
tq = 151.1

hp = 184.6
tq = 148.1

Mileage = ? Engine mods = custom intake and exhaust
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
xizor provided two runs

hp = 173.9
tq = 153.6

hp = 174.6
tq = 153.9

Mileage = 2700 Engine mods = K&N CAI
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
tmalzahn provided two runs

hp = 182.7
tq = 160.6

hp = 183.7
tq = 160.0

Mileage = 4500 Engine mods = Comptech intake, header and catback

Damn I got 10,500 miles on mine. Wonder what it'd do with the intake/catback, still thinking about the headers. I'll try to dyno mine this friday/saturday.

Jab31169, that's some nice gain from just an intake.

Yes...I was very suprised as well. My next mod on the list is the hondata gasket, followed by the DC Header, and then maybe followed by the comptech exaust. It would be nice to put 190-195HP to the ground and maybe 170TQ. And that would be without the Hondata flash. We shall see.

TOV's dyno's, both with 6000 miles

Hondata Head Gasket

177.5HP
157.9 lb-ft

Hondata + AEM SRI

185.7HP
159.6lb-ft

Jab, it looks likely you could be upto 187-188HP with just the $60 Gasket. Go for it.
