Different Header
Different Header
Ive been searching but i have found nothing. either there are not many or i really suck at searching for them (do no comment haha)
but i found a handful of companies (that are reputable) that make header
DC, Comptech, 5Zigen, ASM, Toda,
i was wondering if anyone know of any other options?
im asking because this forum is very hyped up on comptech (because its best bang for buck) but i was wondering if the more expensive header (toda, ASM, 5zigen) are any better (besides in super high quality JDM blah blah).
please let me know

Don't count out DC's as its a bit cheaper than comptech's. There is also Topspeed (DC replica) but it hasn't been AZ dyno proven. But, for <$200, what do you want?
Oh, OBX makes one for under $200 too, but no one has been foolish enough to touch that one.

price on header goes to no limit... as i said im willing to buy ASM header which are 1700 retail.
but my main concern is gain, noise, etc i just want opinions and input of use of these header and more brands
If price is no issue and gains are important, consider the Hytech exhaust system. Its a whole replacement exhaust track, from header through catback. Cost around $2500 and comes with its own custom Hondata reflash to take advantage of the setup.
I believe member shaang has this setup now, search for him.

now the new ones will start disappearing real quick. used will be the only option soon.
This is how the ebay ad is listed...
It might be fine for MT but AT users seem to have a noise issue. I think mainly due to lower idle rpm.
Comptech has closed for Business Purchase these before they are gone.
We have these in stock ready for delivery. No warranty or returns on any Comptech products

I'm not on the SSR, using the TODA instead. So far, there was only one CL7R in SG that fitted the SSR and his reviews were good. Fyi, the owner was on TODA prior to SSR.
I had wanted to order one to try but realized that the SSR header does not come with a test pipe option and therefore, the stock cat will not fit. The alternative is to customise a test pipe to fit.

As far as the noise is concerned, this is the proto-type system so this is somewhat loud, although it can be quiter. John is making the production quiter, I will be swapping out this prot-type one for the quiet production one.
Welds, and finish are

Nope - not yet.
I am waiting for "you-know-what" and debating on cams too. So I will have the full package
BTW How do you know about that?
^^ Yeah. It's kind of sad that the Honda Element of all cars got the you-know-what before we did.
The S2000 will have it in May. OMG -- did you see how many parts they would have to buy to make it work?
At least it gives you a little hint on how our A/C might work:
Patience grasshoppas. Once the Civic Si or +05 S2k has one, you know it's only a matter of time. If one DBW model gets it, everything else will.

Air Conditioning. In KManager you will need to select 'Use alternate AC switch input'. No wiring changes need to be made. Idle up and enrichment is as per the stock ECU.
