I've known about the proto-type harness Doug has, I believe he is running it himself.

ok. but this is also for an AT, and k-pro is usually for MT from what i understand.

so if the prototype harness has been around since 06, is it something they're trying to fine tune before releasing?

I'm not sure about the tranny types!

They were having issues with VSA, and cruise control, ETC... I believe those have been resolved or pretty close to being resolved.

Something is def. in the works. I can confidently say that

Stay tuned though

this is the million dollar question--whatever is happening soon, will it happen for all 1st gen TSX's? or will the 07/08 owners be left out of the good times?

Actually, I've been in communication with John @ HyTech. Although Doug @ Hondata will be the one tuning, once everything is done.

I'm not sure of the gains to be expected. That remains to be a mystery right now.

Thanks

well, logically speaking, since they've cracked the 04/05's first, the 06 is different from those years but cracked, and the 07/08's are different from all those years and not cracked, i'd just assume that us 07/08 owners, once again, won't get to have the fun the 04/05 owners have.

What is the ETC.? if your tuning your car your not really into having VSA and cruise.. so they should just release the damn thing! If the AC and dash functions work.. release it!..haha. Im just trying to get this show on the road! I have some nice Blue Print Stg. 2 cams sitting waiting to be installed with some other goodies..haha.

ya if I could find a picture or something of the wiring I would attempt to create one myself. anyone know where they get the connectors from? if I could get some, I might just play around and see if I can come up with something. I mean if I was successful, I know there are plenty of people willing to buy a harness, and I still think everyone's charging WAY too much.. if anyone has any info on where I could locate the connectors or how they're doing some of the wiring shoot me a PM or something.. it's time we got some kpro already

If K-Pro is a done deal, there is no need for the reflash

True, but from business aspect. I think Hondata would do away with the reflash, and strictly sell K-Pro, assuming it's a done deal.

More money for them

this method(OEM ECU and RSX ECU running as a piggyback) is being used for the k24a4. there's actually 2-3 working with KPRO.

Cham(cstyleaccord) made the harness and is using it on his accord also. made a godly amount of power too lol. so if you still need a jumper harness i'd say talk to cham.

Yea.. i was told the same so i sold the head already... i also heard that the k20a2 flows better up top and the k24a2 flows better down low. Alot of stories but no flow charts on a k24a2 but found alot of charts on other k24 heads.

Correct me if I am wrong...

But I believe that you are right but the reason is because of the cam profiles and not so much in the head ports themselves... In that case you would simply need to change out the cams to change the characteristics of either head. I can look into this further but I have been working so much lately I rarely have time to do this.

Any care to chime in? Should this be discussed in a different post?
