Cut the resanator out of my Comptech Exhaust!

There was this weird rattle coming from my exhaust so I took it down to the local muffler shop to have it checked out. They got it up on the lift and determined it was coming from inside the resanator, the only way to check inside is to cut it off! So they cut it we couldnt see anything inside but when you shook the resanator it would sound like there was a bunch of pieces of glass inside, I asked him to to replace the resanator with a straight pipe, I was a little worried about the exhaust being way too loud but to my surprise the exhaust acutally sounds better! a little deeper and a little tiny bit louder!

BTW, I had the same sorta sound on mine a week after I installed it. Ended up being the double walled tip. Comptech replaced it for free.
