hey guys,

I am creating a pair custom eyelid made of ABS plastic. Here is a pic of an unfinished item. I still have to sand the edge and paint them. Can you guys tell me how u feel about it? REMEMBER, the pic shows the unfinish item, the edge will be smoother and will match my car's colour. Thanks guys and gals. I'm open to any comment that can improve the quality or so.

 

Looks pretty good. I think it would be a bit more agressive with about 1/8 to 1/4 inch more on the front side of the light, tapering back to the way you have it now on the side.
Right now, the thickness looks the same all the way across, without the apperance of a tapered look, therefore taking away from the whole "eyelid" or "eyebrow" effect.
Make sense?

 

Eyebrows look good. You need something under the emblem though to complete the Groucho Marx look.

 

good start, but it does look too uniform across the length. this might help a bit.

What if you started the eyelid from the bottom right of the headlight to make it more aggressive...

I think it looks great. It's not too much but not too little. Do you have any head-on shots?
