Got the Comptech bar installed yesterday evening, thanks to all you guys with advice on removal/installation/jacking/teflon tape! Couldn't have been more straightforward -- what a great mod for $115. Driving to work this morning on the on/off ramps and around town, it feels more poised and flatter through the curves. Terrific feeling to make a great-handling car just that much tighter without sacrificing comfort (or much money).

Acura of Escondido (through eBay) is a terrific supplier of this mod, too. They email you quickly and ship immediately.

Just take the exhaust of the rubber mounts, and then move you way around to the nuts.
I didn't remove the rubber mounts till trying to fit the sway bar on -_-

it was sure fun getting it back in there but great mod =)

A 3/8 drive swivle or U-joint makes getting at those bolts a piece of cake. So if you have one you don't need to move the exhaust at all.

Performance Suspension Technologies (PST) urethane impregnated with graphite...all the performance, none of the squeek

I'll assume you noticed that the last post on this thread was five years ago, but..... still useful information I imagine. The Comptech bar has I think fallen out of favor somewhat with some (many?) of the members of this site. I think we'd find that a few reports of broken sway bar mounts by members using the Comptech bar with the polyurethane bushings (this combination specifically) are all it took to move the Progress bar to the top of the list (if it wasn't there already).
