WTF? Never heard of that before!
Did you just replace the filter element or whole CAI?
Are you sure nothing went into your intake piping before you put the top of the airbox on?

Hey, thanks for the reply's guys
I did install the intake tube really close to the TB, i'll have to gap it a little when it stops raining.
Also did the TB mod while i had the stock intake off, ghetto'ed up some locking pliers by wrapping electrical tape around the two clamps, worked really well actually. Only tip i can give is MAKE SURE YOU PUT A TOWEL UNDER THE TB before taking the cooling lines off. A lot of coolant pours out. Pretty simple mod to do and it only cost me a dollar.
I didn't have time to put the K&N into cai mode, so its in SRI right now, but i feel a nice increase in throttle resoponse and high end power is MUCH better now. There is a little punch when accelorating while in the high end now.
As for the sound, I was one of those guys worried about it being too loud. Now that it's in, all i can say is don't worry. I love the sound, it certainly is louder, but it sounds downright mean. There is no sound difference at low RPM and while cruising on the highway. At wot you hear a nice growl, but it is not painfully loud. Vtec sounds beautiful now. I highly recomend this mod. Install took about an hour and a half, thats including engine cool down time and the time it took to do the TB mod.
