My auto tranny has held up great for 50K+ supercharged miles. (knock on wood) I drive my car hard too. I'm not sure how much torque the stock tranny can hold, but I'd be happy if it could hold 275 whp/200wtq.

If any of you Auto guys are going for a lot of power later, I would highly recommend going to a high performance torque converter. I actually researched one for awhile. I got some info from a guy on club rsx who had one put in his base auto with K-Pro/boost. He had a company called Import Performance Trans make a high stall Torque converter for him. http://www.importperformancetrans.com

For any of the Auto guys going SC, keep in mind you're not going to make tons of torque even with a SC and high boost. If you want torque, go Turbo but keep in mind that on a FWD drive car torque can cause a lot of traction and torque steer problems. You'll get sick power numbers though, so I guess it's kinda a trade off.

some of my plans
k26 low compression build... ep3 trans, quaife lsd, dss 2.9 axles, full-race gt35 kit, anodized black intercooler... rays wheels, usdm sides and rear, ebay front lip custom shaved down to stealthy look, 3000k hid kit, wilwood 6piston kit wilwood large rotor adapter rear, 35% tint, ebay euro dm replica headlights, and much much more....

lets just say the tsx I found I will pay off in like 6 months, so I will have a hefty bag of change to play

oh almost forgot tanabe dual catback and tein flex...

No no usdm ep3 trans with quaife lsd... No specific reason why...

Simply just the complete gearing from 1-4

And no way in hell I am going to trust someone to open up the tsx 6speed and replace gears

Unless you guys have a place in the tristate area which has not only done it before, but competent enough to understand what I want

Ep3 trans is a must have for 400hp+
If I decide to build 500hp on pump gas

I'll def eat up factory tranny's for breakfast

Alot of us would rather just have a kit actually made for a TSX.. all the custom stuff is a bit too much. If someone comes out with a complete kit for the TSX then you see more of us interested. We've read what you stated but why should we need to fab something up to make it work.. it should work without having to do anything. So once the complete kit is available then more of us will be interested.. get it?

Ok so I started the thread by saying, the kit looks like it fit, except for the downpipe

Then I posted pics of an accord (7th gen 4cyl), with everything fitting

Do you guys think that turbos are pull em out the box and bolt em up?

It takes a full day to install. All I keep hearing is fab this fab that, what about drilling a whole in the oil pan, relocating wires, replacing parts for clearance

Those are all things involved in installing a turbo in an rsx/ep3

For christ sakes you guys make it impossible for me, the dude who prides himself with helping stuff to fit

Why can't this side of the forum just believe me.. I aint got no street cred son

Yea.. you have to relocate and make holes here and there.. but it doesnt envolve fabricating "new" parts to make it work!.. get it son?? If you buy a full race turbo kit.. it comes complete with everything you need!.. get it son?? No one wants to fabricate new parts to make something work. Thats all im saying. Yea you can make it work.. but its suppose to work.. my toy should come with batteries!

well alot of toys dont come with batteries included

richie v6 has a local tig welder who can get this done for dirt cheap... so I will be pursuing this anyway... once it is done, everyone will be welcomed to stainless steel tig welded parts thru me

stillhere: there is this tire place in college point called genesis tire town or something.

they sell mostly tires, but also have used cars for sale. i've seen a silver 04/05 with fogs for sale in their lot. i'm not sure if it's an AT or MT, but maybe you wanna check it out.

Looks like he's already got a project car...and it's not a TSX:

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/stillhere153s-projekt-car-has-been-purchased-713870/

Also, his new sig verifies his TSX turbo plans are suspended indefinitely.

started my tsx turbo last week... parts that are all over our shop floor:

- universal intercooler
- universal 2.5¨aluminium piping
- HKS SSQV BOV
- Tial 38mm wastegate
- JVT K serie top mount cast manifold
- autometer boost gauge and oil pressure gauge
- Hondata dual ECU setup with harness and kpro
- full-race T04E Turbo .50 A/R Compressor, .63A/R Turbine
- 3¨ custom downpipe with v-band made by us...
- hummm some others misc parts....

ok I already installed intercooler, made my custom charge pipe, relocated my battery in the trunk, started the downpipe, made a little aluminium plate to install the gauge under the radio...

anyone want pics? ill update them soon
