Purpose is to isolate the heat exchange from the block (technically the block and coolant) and intake manifold.

Pro: Cooler intake temp
Con: PITA to install even with the amazing instructions provide here.

I installed mine and other that a few scrapped knuckles and some frustration I like having the extra few hp. My goal though was to get to 200whp NA and I'm darn close. I'm a set of pullies away from it.

It took a week of being totally bored before I did the install. Honestly, it all comes down to 1 bolt that makes it a PITA. A cool side effect... seening the car without an IM. Kinda cool.

Con #2: Needing to buy Acura Coolant b/c you aren't going to do a full flush

I'm planning to get it when I have a chance to get a set of 06 TB + IM.

So what about Head Gasket? I heard it can increase the Engine Compression and make a few whp out of it. Any ideas?

I found the install to be fairly easy. Probably because I have removed and installed the IM atleast a dozen times. I first installed the Hondata then the 06 IM and TB then the Power Rev Racing gasket on seperate occassions. I also helped Shaang do his install too

the install really is a PITA if you've never removed your manifold before, I wouldn't suggest doing it unless you're taking off the manifold for another installation at the same time.

the powerrev gasket is easier however, i believe no coolant flush is required

Correct, for the Pwer Rev gasket no draining of coolant is required
