So, with several road trips and no knicks, sounds like a tough hood! One road trip to Austin cost me several new knicks in my cars paint. Oh well!

Anyone know anything about the Fiber Images hood? It's $509-515 at some sites, and the one I linked ships for only $7.35 to my area!
Mainly, I'd be getting it because I fucked up my hood and it's scratched really badly. A whole car repaint would be too expensive ($1500+) and a hood-only repaint would probably be slightly mismatched with the rest of the car. My main reservation about a CF hood, though, is that it'd look terrible on my CG TSX, and I've read that a painted CF hood can weigh almost as much as a stock hood after you add all the crap it takes to even out the texture.
How much would a CG OEM hood cost? Of course, if anyone else got a CF hood and has a stock CG OEM hood lying around, PM me!

the quality is better than fiberimages.. All north american made c/f hood i seen are okay quality, such as VIS, fiber images, Gemini. And the fitment is 50/50 chance of not fitting properly..
Jdm Hood are usually better built. but more $$$.. buddly club, phase, spoon.mugen.

You pay for what you get...I'd rather spend the extra money and have everything fit and look good.

Infusion is the best process to make carbon fiber. NASA uses this process to make their carbon fiber parts.
