I'm a complete newb when it comes to the tsx, I'm an accord guy. Anyway I was wondering if I can use a 06-08 bumper on my 05?

Front and rear bumpers fit perfectly. All you really need is the bumper and grill. It may look like you have 2 grills (because of the 04-05 hood trim). The only extra part you will need is the 04-05 grill. Unless you want to change to the 06-08 hood as well.
