"Building Honda K-series Engine Performance" by cartechbooks
Hey I went to bookstore today and looked for cartechbooks for K series engine and found it. I read some info on books and it was interesting information about different parts for K series. I wonder if anyone has read the book or not? I looked at Comptech header vs stock with the dyno on book and said that dyno are almost same, only gain 5hp. I also looked at Hondata reflash and gained a lot of hp at 28. I also looked at K20A2 engine with Comptech and DC sports, it showed that Comptech header and stock are almost same dyno test but DC sports showed more gain hp vs stock in dyno test. It was very interesting information and I think I will buy that books. I am thinking about Hondata reflash over the upgrade header because of gain more hp than header.

I got a reflash question?
Is it better to do the intake/header/exhaust first and then reflash or it doesn't matter about the order.

Check your sources. Per TOV:
A few days following the installation of the Comptech header, we pointed our project TSX A-Spec west and headed over to Dynolab, Inc. of Marietta, GA. It had only been a few weeks since we tested the DC Sports Header on the car, so to avoid having to reinstall the stock exhaust manifold in between, we decided not to rebaseline the car. On the dyno, the Comptech performed similarly to the DC Sports header, but it did manage to squeak out a few more horsepower up top. Below 6600 rpm or so, the curves are nearly identical. But above that point, the horsepower (and torque) curve nosedives rapidly with the DC Sports, while the Comptech actually continues to create power to above 7000 rpm. The difference amounts to a difference of only around 2-3 hp, so it's really quite negligible. At the moment, technical difficulties with our dynojet run viewing software are preventing me from showing a graph comparing the two plots directly.

My TSX already had CAI Injen, Hondata gasket, P2R spacer/gaskets, K24 gasket. I want to get a reflash but found one called Soild Technology in local for $595 and installation for $70 per hour. Let me know if you needs help.

Also, I looked at Jackson Racing supercharger for K24A2 from cartechbook and dyno showed that it gained 324Hp. But I don't understand why didn't Jackson Racing design one for TSX? I just wonder.

Maybe they never developed the Powercard for the TSX. Regardless, they use the same Eaton M62 blower though, so I think from a power standpoint a Jackson Racing SC would produce similar HP numbers. They do on the RSX kit anyway.
