ROTORA offers a number of great setups. A good street setup is their 1 pc 330X30MM disc (slotted or drilled and slotted) w/ 4 piston caipers, SS brake lines, and high performance ceramic pads.

After 100k I put Brembo discs on front, 'cos it needed them, and Hawk pads with Stainless lines all around.
It makes a huge difference. Brakes grab "quicker", with more progressive feel, and are easier to modulate, going fast or in stop and go traffic.
It makes it feel like you can stop on a dime, every time. I mean, more precisely.
There is more brake dust on the wheels, so you have to wash more frequently.

Choose a BBK that uses easy to find brake pads. With the Project Mu one, you'll be stuck with only their brand of pads in that particular shape. How is the situation with Rotora?

i still say go with Endless, besides can you really put a dollar value on a product that may save your life?

Make sure the BBK that you choose does not exceed the grip of your tires, otherwise you'll be engaging ABS everytime you brake, thus increasing your braking distance (and putting your life in higher risk).

I have had big brake kits before and most of what I see is they are NOT worth it. Most kits are worse for street driving and auto-x than the stock kits. The only real benefit I have found is in endurance racing where the size (much larger/thicker) can handle the elevated temps longer. The only excetion I have seen is Stoptech who has the best kit out there.
John @ Fastbrakes is cool, I met him once and he has some pretty good set-ups at great values.
I remember talking to Michael Galati when he won the then Speedvision Touring Cup in his own ITR. He used stock brakes, and stock rotors with Hawk Blue pads, while the RTR guys were running Big Brembo kits. Food for thought.

So to sum up a good set of pads and good brake fluid is more than any of us really needs.....unless you want to look good.....

Part of the BBK is the bling/cool/show off factor (if not all three).
Price is irrelevant as it's only a factor if you can't afford it or need to justify it somehow or to someone! Otherwise it's worth what anyone's happy to fork out for it.

i kinda agree....unless your running some huge power numbers a BBK is just about useless (except to show off). some good slotted rotors, decent pads and braided lines will go a long way IMO.

You could go with a better set of rotors (Rotora, Racing Brake or even plain old Brembo blanks) with pads and lines and be more than happy with the results. Also save lotsa $$ over the kit

FOR HALF THE PRICE, DO WHAT I DID: new rotors, pads, and stainless steel lines. you'll love the bite of your fade-free braking system!
